Chef Kevin Barko brings over 40 years of culinary experience together to help you become a great “Home Cook”. Chef Kevin is a natural teacher and it's always fun in the kitchen with Kevin! Join us for tour Fall 2022 class for 10 weeks of instruction for only $855.00. Class begins October 5, 2022 and ends December 14, 2022 (skipping Thanksgiving week) - Wednesdays from 6:00P-9:00P. The bonus Thanksgiving class will be scheduled with input from class. Cooking School Cookbook included with fee. Week #1: Introduction: Mise en Place. Food Safety, Basic Equipment, Meal Planning Worksheet, Knife Skills-Culinary Knife Cuts Practice Week #2: Eggs: Scramble, Poach, Omelets, Soufflé’s. Introduction to Hollandaise Sauce & Eggs Benedict Week #3: Fresh Egg Pasta: Lasagna & Fettuccine with Simple Sauces Week #4: Salads & Fresh Scratch Salad Dressings: Caesar Salad, Asian Salad, Fresh Dressing Recipes. Plus-Basic Rice Recipes, Rice Pilaf, Fried Rice, and Wild Rice. Week #5: Scratch Stocks & Sauces: Simple & Mother Sauces Week #6: Center of the Plate: Chicken Recipes Week #7: Center of the Plate: Seafood Recipes: Week #8: Center of the Plate: Beef & Pork Recipes Week #9: Fresh Bread & Pizza: Roma Pizza and Focaccia Week #10: Desserts: Cake & Macarons

Cancellation Policy

Heritage Street Cooks, LLC Culinary Education Cancellation Policy - Cancellations must be made 3 days [72 hours]. Cancellations made via email at Amy@heritagestreetcooks.com sooner than 3 days [72 hours] before a class will be processed without penalty. Cancellations made after 3 days (72 hours) before the class will result in loss of class fee.
